In September 2012, ComfortDelGro Cabcharge acquired Deane's Transit Group which included Transborder Express. In December 2022, it was announced that both Transborder Express and QCity Transit are to be rebranded as CDC Canberra, effective from 23 January 2023.

livery. In December of 2022 as the fleet was being renewed for the rebranding to CDC Canberra, the final vehicle in Transborder Express livery was changed. There are no longer any vehicles carrying any Transborder Express livery.

Qcity Transit issues a smart card for use on its buses and Transborder Express buses.
