In 1975 he was appointed art lecturer at the De Ateliers in Amsterdam, where he lecturer until 2003. From 1981 to 1984 he also lectured at the Academie Minerva in Groningen; at the Academie voor Beeldende Vorming Tilburg (ABV) in 1983-1984; at the Villa Arson in Nice in 1983-1984, and at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe from 2009 to 2014.
