The Kind Diet: A Simple Guide to Feeling Great, Losing Weight and
Saving the Planet is a vegan cookbook written by actress and animal
rights activist Alicia Silverstone.[1]
Silverstone told New York Times interviewer Patrick Healy that for
three years she has turned down roles in films and television to have
time to work on her book, as well as do plays.[2]
Silverstone has her own website, The Kind Life, which she describes as
"an interactive extension of my book, The Kind Diet, which is about
living your healthiest and happiest life to the fullest, while taking
care of mama Earth at the same time!"[3]
A follow up book was published in 2014, The Kind Mama. A third is
planned,
The Kind Diet
