Personal life

Young and his wife, Shekinah Beckett, have two sons named Thaddeus, Jr. and Taylor. In May 2011, Young started a foundation called ''Young for Youth'' to help at-risk youth and young families. Young's mother, Lula Hall, died on November 13, 2014, after an 18-month battle with breast cancer; she was 57 years old.Wolves wear pink shoelaces in honor of Thad Young's late mom
