, Bradway played football at Holy Spirit High School and

. After graduating from Trenton State, he returned to Holy Spirit as a junior varsity coach. After two seasons at Holy Spirit, Bradway joined the coaching staff at the

, where two of his former HSHS players were playing. In 1979 he became the running backs coach at the
