of up to 18 months. During the manufacturing process, the pouches are filled with food, sealed, and cooked in a retort oven under high temperature and pressure. The sealing and construction of the pouch ensure that no bacteria or other degrading factors can affect the food – it is sterilized inside the pouch. This process also ensures high retention of the food's original aroma, texture, nutrients, and flavor. The pouches are BPA-free. Tasty Bite products are manufactured at its Bhandgaon plant, about 68 miles outside of Pune, India. The vegetables used are grown on a private farm owned and managed by the company.
