Pseudonocardiaceae'' that contains two known species:
* ''
S. hindustanus'', which is known for the production of
tallysomycin, an
antitumor antibiotic;
* ''
S. tenebrarius'', which is known for production of
tobramycin, and which was previously classified as ''Streptomyces tenebrarius''.
