The second season averaged a total viewership of 9 million viewers, up from last season's average of 6.9 million. Lloyd Paseman of '' Eugene Register-Guard'' gave the series a 4 star (out of 5) rating, praising the ensemble performance by the cast, the realistic nature of the characters and the writing.
