The scarab beetle subfamily SCARABAEINAE consists of species collectively called TRUE DUNG BEETLES. Most of the beetles of this subfamily feed exclusively on dung . Well-known members include the genera Scarabaeus and Sisyphus , and Phanaeus vindex .
