Plot

The film begins with a sincere & valiant Inspector Ramu who lives with his mother Seeta. He initiates a squabble with a naughty girl Vijaya which turns into a crush. Besides, 3 traitors Dharmaraju, Satya Murthy, & Nyayapathi, one that counterfeit as a patriot freedom fighter loot the country in the form of corruption, black marketing, adulterations, smuggling, etc. Vijaya is the daughter of Dharmaraju and she makes Ramu’s acquaintance with her father when he is startled as Ramu resembles a true loyalist Sardar Papa Rayudu. Dharmaraju questions Ramu regarding his father he silently quits. Following the 3 blackguards seek to find the whereabouts of Papa Rayudu. Just after, Papa Rayudu releases from jail and spins back. During the pre-Independence era, Papa Rayudu is a powerful insurgent whose presence is a terror to the British. Once, he rescues Seeta from the British soldiers and he is injured in the crossfire. So, Seeta takes him to their ''Ashram'' headed by a pacifist Baba. Due to the restrictions, Papa Rayudu hides his identity, and he secretly knits Seeta. Forthwith, he is seized by the British with the deceit of the same 3 treacheries and sends him to Andaman. After that, the British assign another task to betrayers to uncover a treasure hidden by Vijaya Raghava Raju for the welfare of the country. Hence, they land at Andaman, knowledge of the secret by the time the Govt declares independence. So, they slaughter Vijaya Raghava Raju and incarcerate Papa Rayudu. At present, Papa Rayudu approaches Baba for Seeta when he rebukes him but after divulging his uncertainty Baba understands his virtue. Now Papa Rayudu wants to eliminate the rats when Baba requests him to be cool until the truth comes to light. Therefrom, Papa Rayudu confronts their criminal acts but he is incriminated furthermore. Whereat, Baba decides to publicize the vandalism of evil. Knowing it, they slay him too again on behalf of Papa Rayudu. During the tough spot, Papa Rayudu encounters Ramu, recognizes him as his son, meets Seeta, and affirms the actuality. Subsequently, Ramu also learns it but as duty-bounded he arrests him when Papa Rayudu deliberately surrenders to his son. At this point, Ramu aims to prove his father’s innocence, with the help of Vijaya he breaks the truth but he is captured. In that clash, unfortunately, Seeta is killed. Being cognizant of it, Papa Rayudu flares up on the baddies and ceases them, but severely injured. At last, he safeguards his son and leaves his last breath in his lap. Finally, the movie ends with an axiom ''the true patriots who have altruistically sacrificed their lives for the country are forsaken''.
