has been undergoing rapid development in recent years, with construction of new shops and up to 900 new homes anticipated to be complete by 2019.[5] Further improvements have been discussed, including expanding Sandymoor School capacity to 900 students, opening a new primary school and creating a Sandymoor

station on the Chester-Manchester railway line which runs along the eastern edge of the parish.[citation needed]
