With this treaty both sides recognized each other claims with Shahu ceding territory between the Krishna and Tungabhadra rivers to Sambhaji. He, however, had to remain a vassal of Shahu. He was succeeded by Jijibai as a regent of Shivaji II of Kolhapur.
