. Among the many styles of Gypsy dance, the most famous is the flamenco dance, the traditional dance from

in Southern Spain. Other Romani dance styles are Ghawazee (Egyptian Gypsies), Rom (Eastern European Gypsies) and Tsjengui (Turkish Gypsies). The Turkish Roma crossed Turkey through the northern Black Sea region (Kara Deniz) and moved on to Trakya, passing Istanbul. In Sulukule in Istanbul, the district is still famous for its Romani dances.
