Personal life

In 2011, during the filming of ''Ekk Deewana Tha'', he began a relationship with Amy Jackson, a British actress. They broke up the following year. Following a battle with substance abuse in 2013, a problem that Babbar had struggled with in the past, he went through rehab and counseling and has stayed sober since. Babbar married film producer, Sanya Sagar, on 23 January 2019 after dating for quite a few years. However, the couple separated in 2020 and their divorce is currently in process.
