Pettit Lake is a large alpine lake in Blaine County, Idaho, Blaine County, Idaho, United States, located in the Sawtooth Valley in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. The lake is approximately south of Stanley, Idaho, Stanley and northwest of Ketchum, Idaho, Ketchum. Pettit Lake is accessed from Idaho State Highway 75, State Highway 75 via Sawtooth National Forest road 205.Sawtooth National Forest. “Sawtooth National Forest” [map].1:126,720, 1”=2 miles. Just east of the Sawtooth Wilderness, Pettit Lake is at an elevation of , downstream of popular destinations such as Alice Lake (Sawtooth Wilderness), Alice Lake and the Twin Lakes.
