Pakubuwono IX (also transliterated Pakubuwana IX) was the ninth Susuhunan (ruler of
Surakarta Surakarta ( jv, ꦯꦸꦫꦏꦂꦠ), known colloquially as Solo ( jv, ꦱꦭ; ), is a city in Central Java, Indonesia. The 44 km2 (16.2 sq mi) city adjoins Karanganyar Regency and Boyolali Regency to the north, Karanganyar Regency and Sukoh ...
). He was born in 1830, the second son of Pakubuwano VI, and reigned from 1861 until his death in 1893. He is attributed as author of ''Serat woro isworo'' a book about genealogy and morals.
