Nubia Technology is a subsidiary of Chinese mobile phone manufacturer ZTE.[1] The minority shareholders of Nubia were Suning Holdings Group[2] and associate company Suning Commerce Group.[3]

The company hired footballer Cristiano Ronaldo to promote the mobile phone of the company in May 2016.[4]

In 2017, China Daily reported that Nubia would build a factory in Nanchang.[5]
