by American heavy metal band Metallica, which took place in 1993 in support of their fifth studio album '' Metallica'' (commonly known as the ''Black Album''). This tour was the third part of the huge tour they started, after the Wherever We May Roam Tour and Guns N' Roses/Metallica Stadium Tour. The band played in 77 shows worldwide in three legs. Between February 25 and March 2, Metallica played five shows in

, Mexico. All these shows were recorded live and a few months later, the band released their first live album and box set '' Live Shit: Binge & Purge''.
