Percy produced the Granada series ''End of Empire'' (1985), which explored the effects of the end of the

Percy, along with Brian Lapping, was awarded the Alan Clarke Award (for outstanding contribution to Television) at the 2002 BAFTA awards. Percy was made a Fellow of the Royal Television Society in 1999 and was awarded the Judges Prize by that society at the 2010 RTS Awards. In 2009, at the
