History

Nampally derives its name from a Persian Diwan of Hyderabad, Raza Ali Khan whose title was ''Nekh-Nam-Khan''. A jagir was granted to him, Nekh-Nampally, which became ‘Nampally’. The Nampally Railway Station was built in 1907 by
