The Treasurer's responsibilities include the issuance of State debt, responsibility for the timely payment of principal and interest on the State's bond and note obligations, and receiving, disbursing and investing State funds. The State Treasurer also represents the Executive Branch on over a dozen boards and commissions. The treasurer's salary is $90,000 per year, but is set to increase to $120,000 annually in 2024.
