. With the feat, she competed in the 64th edition of Miss Universe, held on December 20, 2015, in Las Vegas, USA where she was among the 15 semifinalists. The gaúcha participated in Miss Rio Grande do Sul 2012 where she lost to Miss Brazil 2012 Gabriela Markus. She is the 13th in her state to win the title and the 5th winner in less than ten years. She is also the first blonde in ten years to be named Miss Brazil, the last being Carina Beduschi in 2005. She has worked as a model since the age of 13.
