Congress

Kline was elected as a Democrat to the Fifty-eighth and Fifty-ninth Congresses. He was not a candidate for renomination in 1906. After Congress, Kline resumed the practice of law and also engaged in banking. He worked as president of the Allentown Trust Co. 1907–1911. He was a delegate to the

on March 10, 1911 at age 55, and was interred in Fairview Cemetery in Allentown.
