Pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles, three wheelers and tractors are not permitted to enter the expressways. ITS ( Intelligent Transportation System) systems are being installed presently. ETC Electronic Toll Collection systems are being installed on the Southern Expressway while the Colombo-Katunayeke Expressway system is functional.
