There were 228 households, out of which 11.4% had children under the age of 18 living in them, 47.8% were opposite-sex married couples living together, 7.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 3.5% had a male householder with no wife present. 4.4% of households were unmarried opposite-sex partnerships and 2.2% were same-sex married couples or partnerships. 32.0% of households were made up of individuals, and 14.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. As of March 2019 there were over 700 registered voters in Lakehead.
