Administrative divisions

The Kairouan Governorate is divided into eleven ''delegations'' ('' mutamadiyat''), listed below with their populations at the 2004 and 2014 Censuses, and further sub-divided into sectors (''imada''). Twelve municipalities are included within Kairouan Governorate:
