Jeffrey Leib Nettler Zimbalist was born on August 15, 1978 in Northampton, Massachusetts. Zimbalist grew up in western Massachusetts, attending Northampton High School. He played baseball, football, and competitively skied. He received his bachelor's degree from Brown University in
