Jaman North (Ghana parliament constituency)

Jaman North is one of the constituency, constituencies represented in the Parliament of Ghana. It elects one Member of Parliament, Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election. Jaman North is located in the Jaman North District, Jaman North district of the Bono region, Bono Region of Ghana.

This seat was created prior to the 2004 Ghanaian parliamentary election, Ghanaian parliamentary election in 2004.

The seat is located within the Jaman North District of the Bono Region of Ghana.

History

The constituency was first created in 2004 by the Electoral Commission of Ghana along with 29 other new ones, increasing the number of constituencies from 200 to 230.
