Jakarta International Expo or JIExpo is a convention and exhibition center located at Kemayoran in Jakarta, Indonesia. This convention and exhibition center was opened in 2010, developed by the Central Cipta Murdaya group. It was built in the area of former Kemayoran Airport covering a total land area of approximately 44 hectares land, with a total of 100.000 square meters of exhibition & convention area. Jakarta International Expo has 5 halls with capacity of 5000 to 12000 seats. There is a Holiday Inn Express hotel located within the complex. Construction of a new convention center and theater building is going on, with an total area of 30.000 square meters, which will have a number of ballrooms, meeting rooms, and three-tier auditorium proscenium arch theater, which is expected to be completed by 2018. This venue has hosted various exhibitions, concerts and other special events nationally and internationally, such as Jakarta Fair,[1] Java Jazz Festival, Djakarta Warehouse Project,[2] seventh season of Indonesian Idol auditions, Miss Indonesia since 2012, musical concerts and many other events.[3][4] Entertainment events[edit]   Events from local artists   Events from Asian and regional artists   Events from international artists   Events from both local and international artists
