Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.20%. 13% of Hopewell Township reported Scotch-Irish ancestry, the second largest percentage for any populated place in the United States. An additional 15% reported Irish ancestry and 2% reported Scottish ancestry. Of the 354 households 35.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 74.9% were married couples living together, 6.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 14.1% were non-families. 11.6% of households were one person and 5.1% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.80 and the average family size was 3.01. The age distribution was 24.0% under the age of 18, 8.6% from 18 to 24, 27.5% from 25 to 44, 26.7% from 45 to 64, and 13.2% 65 or older. The median age was 40 years.
