Honeysuckle Gelato is an artisan gelato and sorbet company in Atlanta. After selling from a food truck, the company opened its flagship store in 2015 in Ponce City Market in Atlanta. One of their products won an award from the University of Georgia's Flavors of Georgia competition.
Jackson Smith returned to his hometown from New York City and began making gelato and sorbet in his parents' kitchen for family and friends. His childhood friend, Wes Jones, and another friend, Khatera Ballard began talking about the idea of selling the gelato and sorbet. The group started the Honeysuckle Gelato Food Truck.
The Honeysuckle Food Truck allowed the company to gain a following. The Honeysuckle Food Truck is housed in Atlanta's Food Truck Park.
