Plot

The film begins in a village where manly Ravi returns after so many years. Immediately, he notices a tyrant Sher Singh who spins the entire zone under his fingertips. After reaching home, he perceives his mother Savitri & sister Padma in a miserable condition when Ravi questions, Savitri narrates the past. Master Dharam Murthy Ravi’s father is the most respectable person in the village. Once he witnesses a crime made by Sher Singh and decides to testify against him. So, Sher Singh ploys along with Munimji Narayan Das, denounces that Dharam Murthy has abused a lady teacher Menaka and expels him from the village. At present, Ravi aims to cease Sher Singh and get his father's spoilt reputation back. Fortuitously, he is posted in the same area as the chief engineer to construct a dam. Ravi confronts Sher Singh’s fierce and also encounters his snobby daughter Rekha. However, she discharges her pride with the association with Ravi and falls for him. To lay hold of Ravi, Sher Singh conspires by knitting Padma with Narayan Das’s son Shakti. Soon after, she is subjected to punishments but Ravi stands hard. Later, with the help of Rekha, he cracks them down. Meanwhile, Ravi detects his father as a laborer in the work area and brings him back. At last, Ravi arouses the fact and gamely ends the evil play of Sher Singh when he seeks forgiveness. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Ravi & Rekha.
