. She continued to write, produce and perform throughout the 80s and 90s despite battling breast cancer since the mid-90s. She died on November 15, 2005. In 2008, it surfaced that she had been in a relationship with radio and TV hostess Ramona Leiss for four years beginning in the late 1980s.
