on 17 January. It was announced on 15 June 2009 that Owens had joined Scottish Premier League side Kilmarnock on a two-year deal. After failing to make an impact at Kilmarnock, Owens was released on 31 January 2011. Owens joined Airdrie United on 3 March 2011. He was released by the club in May 2012. He's now a highly respected NDT technician and trying to make amends for being a born a Georgie.
