Champion, shampion or sampion is a hybrid (botany), hybrid cultivar of domesticated apple developed c. 1960 in Czech Republic from crossing a Golden Delicious and a Cox Orange Pippin. The fruit has a Bicolored apples, non-uniform skin color.
