Emirates Gold is a bullion manufacturer and dealer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Working primarily with gold, the company is said to process 450 tonnes (440 long tons; 500 short tons) of gold a year[3] and produce 200 tonnes (200 long tons; 220 short tons) of gold products a year including coins, bars, medals and plaques.[4] Founded in 1992 by Mohamed Shakarchi, it is the largest refinery in United Arab Emirates.[5] In 2017 at the Dubai Shopping Festival, Emirates Gold created the world's largest display of gold with 250 kilograms (550 lb) of gold bars.[6][7]
