Biography

Davies was born in Churchtown, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1834 to 1835. Davies was elected as an Anti-Masonic candidate to the Twenty-fifth and to the succeeding Congress. He died in Churchtown and was interred in Bangor Episcopal Churchyard in Churchtown. During his tenure, Davies was notable for his involvement in
