At the 2010 census Diablo had a population of 1,158. The population density was . The racial makeup of Diablo was 1,065 (92.0%) White, 1 (0.1%) African American, 2 (0.2%) Native American, 55 (4.7%) Asian, 0 (0.0%) Pacific Islander, 5 (0.4%) from other races, and 30 (2.6%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 39 people (3.4%). The census reported that 1,102 people (95.2% of the population) lived in households, 56 (4.8%) lived in non-institutionalized group quarters, and no one was institutionalized. There were 412 households, 135 (32.8%) had children under the age of 18 living in them, 315 (76.5%) were opposite-sex married couples living together, 17 (4.1%) had a female householder with no husband present, 11 (2.7%) had a male householder with no wife present. There were 8 (1.9%) unmarried opposite-sex partnerships, and 1 (0.2%) same-sex married couples or partnerships. 57 households (13.8%) were one person and 31 (7.5%) had someone living alone who was 65 or older. The average household size was 2.67. There were 343 families (83.3% of households); the average family size was 2.96.
