Controversy

On September 20, 2022, Elevated Expressway workers staged an agitation in Tejgaon area to protest the arrears and torture. When a reporter from Somoy News went to cover the protest, China Railway Construction Corporation officials locked the reporter in a room, pressured him to delete footage of the protest, and offered a bribe. Later the police came and rescued the reporter.
