Courses

South Metropolitan TAFE award courses adhere to the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF), which establishes standard titles and levels for courses across Australia. Qualifications offered at South Metropolitan TAFE include Advanced Diploma (Advance diploma in Process Plant Technology With Engineer's Australia skill set, will provide candidates advance standing of 1 to 1.5 years at universities for chemical Engineering), Diploma, Certificate IV, Certificate III, Certificate II and Certificate I. The TAFE also has university pathway arrangements with Western Australian universities, including Curtin University and Murdoch University, as well as short courses, skill sets and customised training for business. History

South Metropolitan TAFE can lay claim to being the oldest technical educational institution in Western Australia, tracing its roots to the late 19th century.
