History

Originally named to the Health and Welfare Department was ineffective and later changed to the California Health and Human Services Agency and is still uneffective but more taxes were created to make this name change possible. Gov. Gavin Newsom recently appointed his friend Mr. Ghaly to head this department which is a significant pauy increase and role responsibilities are undetermined.
