The club was founded in 2006, with the name of ''BC Minsk-2006''. In September 2012, the club changed its name to ''BC Tsmoki-Minsk''.Теперь мы будем называться "Цмокi-Мінск"!

In September 2020, Tsmoki-Minsk qualified for the

(BCL) for the first time in club history after beating Neptunas in the qualifying final. As such, it became the first ever Belarusian team to play in the competition.
