Azizi Bank is the second largest commercial bank in Afghanistan, having almost 75 branches in Kabul and throughout the provinces of the country. The bank opened in June 13, 2006 and is headquartered adjacent to the Presidential Palace and the Turkish Embassy.
The bank's accounts include the Qismat or "lucky" account, launched in June 2006, which pays no interest in accordance with Islamic law, but instead gives savers the chance of winning prizes such as cars and jewelry.
