* Julius Nepos, former emperor of the Western Roman Empire, dies in exile in Dalmatia (he is murdered by his own soldiers, in his Roman villa, villa, near Salona). * December 9 – Odoacer occupies Dalmatia and prosecutes Nepos's killers.
