Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind (manga)
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hayao Miyazaki. It tells the story of Nausicaä, a princess of a small kingdom on a post-apocalyptic Earth with a toxic ecosystem, who becomes involved in a war between kingdoms while an environmental disaster threatens humankind. Prior to creating ''Nausicaä'', Miyazaki had worked as an animator for Toei Animation, Nippon Animation and Tokyo Movie Shinsha (TMS), the latter for whom he had directed his feature directorial debut, '' Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro'' (1979). Hideo Ogata
was a producer and planner in Japan. He was also the founding editor of '' Animage'' magazine, the second largest anime and manga magazine in Japan, and the editor of the '' Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind'' manga series. Toshio Suzuki (producer)
is a Japanese film producer. He is a founder, chairman, and former president of Studio Ghibli. Early life Suzuki was born in Nagoya in Aichi Prefecture in 1948. In 1967 he enrolled at Keio University and graduated with a degree in literature in 1972. Career 1970s: Tokuma Shoten His professional career started at Tokuma Shoten, joining the company shortly after graduation.
