Methadone
Methadone, sold under the brand names Dolophine and Methadose among others, is a synthetic opioid agonist used for chronic pain and also for opioid dependence. It is used to treat chronic pain, and it is also used to treat addiction to heroin or other opioids. Prescribed for daily use, the medicine relieves cravings and removes withdrawal symptoms. Detoxification using methadone can be accomplished in less than a month, or it may be done gradually over as long as six months. While a single dose has a rapid effect, maximum effect can take up to five days of use. The pain-relieving effects last about six hours after a single dose. After long-term use, in people with normal liver function, effects last 8 to 36 hours. Methadone is usually taken by mouth and rarely by injection into a muscle or vein. Matthew Done (born 22 July 1988) is an English former professional association football, footballer who is now a Player Development Phase Coach at club Port Vale F.C., Port Vale. In a seventeen-year playing career he scored 60 goals in 592 league and cup appearances, playing mostly as a Midfielder#Winger, winger or as a Forward (association football), striker. Kenneth Stephen Done (born 29 June 1940) is an Australian artist best known for his design work. Although his simple, brightly coloured images of Australian landmarks have adorned a very popular range of clothing and homewares sold under the "Done Design" brand, Done's primary interest is in being a painter. Cheryl Done
Cheryl Done (born 25 September 1970) is a British bobsledder. She competed in the two woman event at the 2002 Winter Olympics. Biography Done was born in Bucklow, Cheshire in 1970, before moving to Timperley, and later to Bath. In 1985, at the under-15 level, Done set a new British record in the pentathlon. Done worked for the Royal Air Force (RAF) as an instructor in physical education, and started competing in bobsleigh in 1995. In one of her earliest races for the British team, in St. Moritz, Done crashed and suffered a concussion. In the two-woman event at the 2002 Winter Olympics, Done and team-mate Nicola Minichiello finished in twelfth place.
