Yamatji
Yamatji (or Yamaji) is a Wajarri word that has at least three different meanings: * a member of the Watjarri people * any Aboriginal Australian person from the Murchison region of Western Australia * any group made up of members of different Indigenous Australian peoples, such as a Native Title Prescribed Body Corporate Usage of the word Yamatji in reference to non-Watjarri people has resulted from its adoption by non-Watjarri Aboriginal people from the Murchison, to describe any Aboriginal person born in that region. Clinton Wolf
Clinton Wolf (born 18 December 1968) is an Australian Aboriginal leader and former Australian rules footballer. Football career Wolf began his career with East Fremantle in 1988 before moving to the Claremont Football Club in the West Australian Football League in 1991, playing in their premiership side. He missed the 1992 season due to work in Kalgoorlie, but despite a major knee reconstruction early in the season recovered to play in the 1993 Tiger premiership team. Continued solid form in 1994 saw Wolf make the inaugural squad of the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League. Wolf only played four matches for Fremantle in the 1995 AFL season before retiring due to recurring knee injuries. Roger Hugh Cook (born 20 August 1965) is an Australian politician who is the current Deputy Premier of Western Australia, under Mark McGowan. He has been a member of the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia since 2008, representing the seat of Kwinana. Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory
The Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory (MRO) was established by CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) in 2009. It lies in a designated radio quiet zone located near Boolardy Station in the Murchison Shire of Western Australia, about north of Perth on the traditional lands of the Wajarri peoples. It is one of two core sites for the international Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project, the other being located in South Africa. As part of this project, there have been two technology and science pathfinders, both established by 2012: * the radio telescopes known as the Murchison Widefield Array (MWA), a low-frequency array operating in the frequency range 80–300 MHz; and * the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP). Aboriginal Australian

Watjarri
The Wajarri people, also spelt Wadjari, Wadjarri, Watjarri, and other variations, are an Aboriginal Australian people whose traditional lands are in the Mid West region of Western Australia. Boolardy Station, along with the tiny settlement of Pia Wajarri adjacent to it, are part of the site of the Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory (MRO). Ken Wyatt
Kenneth George Wyatt (born 4 August 1952) is a former Australian politician who was a member of the House of Representatives from 2010 to 2022, representing the Division of Hasluck for the Liberal Party. Indigenous Ranger
The Indigenous ranger projects were introduced by the Australian Government in 2007 as part of its Working on Country program. Indigenous rangers are Indigenous Australians who combine traditional knowledge with conservation training in order to protect and manage their land, sea and culture. Boolardy Station
Boolardy Station is a remote former sheep and cattle station in the Mid West (Murchison) region of Western Australia, about north-north-east of Pindar and west-south-west of Meekatharra. It is within the Shire of Murchison and situated on pastoral lease no. 3114/406 (Crown lease 146/1966). The area of the lease is .
