Valle's Steak House
Valle's Steak House was an American chain of restaurants that operated on the East Coast of the United States from 1933 to 2000. The chain's menu focused on steaks and lobsters. A family-run business, Valle's aggressively expanded during the early 1970s but was unable to weather the financial challenges of the gas crisis and the resulting economic downturn; increasing labor costs, the death of its founder, and the changing dining habits of its customers. The last Valle's Steak House closed in August 2000. Valle () is a municipality in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Setesdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Valle. Other villages in Valle include Besteland, Brokke, Homme, Hovet, Rygnestad, Rysstad, and Uppstad. The municipality is the 82nd largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Valle Church ( no, Valle kyrkje) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Valle Municipality in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the village of Valle. It is one of the churches for the Valle og Hylestad parish which is part of the Otredal prosti ( deanery) in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. The white, wooden church was built in a cruciform design in 1844 by Anders Thorsen Syrtveit who used plans drawn up by the famous architect Hans Linstow. The term Interandean valles refers to those valleys located in the Andes mountains. The interandean valles comprise most of the mid-elevation areas of the " sierra" of Peru, "los valles" of Bolivia and the " Cuyo region" of Argentina. In Colombia the main interandean valles are formed by Magdalena River and its affluent, the Cauca River. Geography The rugged topography of the Central Andes creates the warm, dry valleys that typifies the valles.
