Used Good
A SECONDHAND or USED GOOD is one that is being purchased by or otherwise transferred to a second or later end user . A _used_ good can also simply mean it is no longer in the same condition as it was when transferred to the current owner. When "used" means an item has expended its purpose (such as a used diaper ), it is typically called garbage , instead. Used goods may be transferred informally between friends and family for free as HAND-ME-DOWNS, or they may be sold for a fraction of their original price at garage sales or in church bazaar fundraisers. Governments require some used goods to be sold through regulated markets, as in the case of items which have safety and legal issues, such as used firearms or cars; for these items, government licensing bodies require certification and registration of the sale, to prevent the sale of stolen, unregistered, or unsafe goods. As well, for some high-value used goods, such as cars and motorcycles, governments regulate used sales to ensure that the government gets its sales tax revenue from the sale. CONTENTS * 1 Benefits * 2 Risks * 3 Types of transfers * 4 Purchases * 5 Types * 5.1 Cars * 5.2 Other items * 6 See also * 7 References BENEFITSSecondhand goods can benefit the purchaser as the price paid is lower than the same items bought new. If the reduction in price more than compensates for the possibly shorter remaining lifetime, lack of warranty, and so on, there is a net benefit

Used To
The HABITUAL ASPECT is a form of expression connoting repetition or continuous existence of a state of affairs. In English when present time is referred to, there is no special grammatical marker for the habitual; the simple present is used, as in _I go there (every day)._ However, for past reference English uses the simple past form or either of two alternative markers: _used to_ as in _we used to go there (every Thursday)_, and _would_ as in _back then we would go there (every Thursday)_. CONTENTS * 1 _Would_ * 2 _Used to_ * 3 References * 4 External links _WOULD_The form is employed to talk about a habit or frequent action in a former time. One usually applies for the past habitual when one is telling a story about the past. * When I was a kid, we would often have a drink after class on a Monday. * When I lived in Romania, we would go to a little bar near our house. The past habitual employment of _would_ requires an accompanying indication of the time of occurrence (more specifically than simply before the present): e.g., _Last year we would go there frequently_, but not simply _We would go there frequently_
