Universum (UNAM)
Universum (full name Universum, el Museo de las Ciencias de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, which translates to Universum, the Science Museum of the National Autonomous University of Mexico) is Mexico's primary museum dedicated to promoting science and technology to the public as well as support the university's science missions. It was opened in 1992 at the Ciudad Universitaria in Mexico City. Today it has thirteen halls divided by theme dedicated to various permanent exhibitions. It has worked with outside public and private entities to develop both permanent and temporary exhibitions and has worked to develop other science museums in other areas of the country. Universum (band)
Universum are a heavy metal band from Adelaide, South Australia. The band completed formation in early 2007 and describe their sound a fusion of Scandinavian melodic death metal, new wave American metal, old school thrash metal and progressive metal. Universum have released two albums to date, the debut album '' Leto Destinatus'' on 15 June 2008 and their second album '' Mortuus Machina'' on 1 January 2011. Band history Formed in early 2006, their sound was influenced by such bands as Pantera, Death, and Iron Maiden. In 2007, Universum completed an eponymous demo. Soon Liam Brophy and Rachael Madden were added to the line up. Playing a string of Australian shows, Universum entered the Emergenza Battle of the Bands competition where they came away runners up in the South Australian state final, winning 'Best Vocalist' and 'Best Guitarist.' Universum Science Center
The Universum Bremen is a science museum in Bremen, Germany. Visitors are encouraged to interact with most of the approximately 250 exhibits. It receives on average 450,000 visitors annually. History The Universum Bremen opened in September 2000 near to the University of Bremen, Germany. Covering over 4,000 m² the exhibition contains exhibits related to one of the three topics: mankind, earth and the cosmos. The science center building, with its 40,000 stainless steel scales, resembles a mixture between a whale and mussel. It was designed by the Bremen architect Thomas Klumpp. The company ''Universum Managementges. mbH'' runs the science center as a private enterprise. ''Universum'' is an Austrian popular science magazine published in German and based in Vienna, Austria. The magazine is the only Austrian publication in the field of popular science, because Germany-published magazines dominate the field in the country. The magazine is financially supported by the Austrian National Science Foundation. History and profile ''Universum'' was established in 1998 as a joint venture of Austrian Radio and Television and N.O Pressehaus. The latter owned and published the magazine. Then the magazine began to be owned and published by the LW Media. ''Universum'' is based in Vienna. The magazine is published ten times a year. Am Universum
''Am Universum'' is the fifth album by Finnish heavy metal band Amorphis. This album was a departure from the doom/stoner metal influence on their previous album, ''Tuonela'', featuring more of a vocal-driven hard rock sound. This is the first album to feature Niklas Etelävuori on bass who would remain in the band until 2017. The song "Alone" is also on the live DVD, ''Forging the Land of Thousand Lakes''. The edited version of the song is on the single itself, and is also on Amorphis' greatest hits compilation album, ''Chapters''. The DVD and the compilation both have the music video for the song. Other songs that are also on the compilation are "Too Much to See", which is also on the "Alone" single and "Drifting Memories".
